| State Bank Of India has informed the Exchange that "In exercise of the powers conferred by clause (a) of Section 19 and sub-section (1) of section (20) of the State Bank of India Act, 1955 (23 of 1955), the Central Government, after consultation with Reserve Bank of India, has appointed Shri Pratip Chaudhuri (DOB: 12.09.1953), Deputy Managing Director State Bank of India, as Chairman, State Bank of India w.e.f. the date of his taking charge i.e. 07.04.2011, upto 30.09.2013 i.e. the date of his attaining the age of superannuation or until further orders, whichever is earlier". |
