| Tulip Telecom Limited has informed the Exchange that "Pursuant to extant SEBI guidelines issued by SEBI vide Regulation 11(2) of SEBI(Substantial Acquisition of Shares and Takeovers) Regulations, 1997, as amended from time to time, we wish to inform you that; (1) the Promoters of the Company through one of the promoter holding company, i.e. M/s Cedar Infonet Private Limited, have acquired/bought further 141,968 equity shares constituting 0.098% of the issued share capital of the company from the open market. (2) consequent to the purchase of above additional shares, the holding of M/s Cedar Infonet Private Limited, has been increased to 33.34% comprising 48,342,826 equity shares of Rs.2/- each. As a result, the overall shareholding of the promoters have been increased to 69.26% . |
