State Bank Of India - Updates
State Bank Of India has informed the Exchange that the Government of India has issues the "Acquisition of SBICI Bank Order 2011" vide Order dated July 29, 2011. The said Order has been issued pursuant to sub-section (2) of Section 35 of the State Bank of India Act, 1955 (23 of 1955). In terms of the said Order, the entire undertaking of SBICI Bank stands transferred to and vests in the State Bank of India from the date of publication in the Gazette, i.e. from July 29, 2011.
