| Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited has informed the Exchange that the Board of Directors, in its meeting held on November 25, 2010 has accorded in-principle approvals for the following: "(1) Setting up of a new BHEL plant as "Power Equipment Fabrication Plant" at Latur, Maharashtra. (2) Forwarding the proposal for initiating the process of merger of Bharat Heavy Plate & Vessels Ltd. (a wholly owned subsidiary of BHEL) with BHEL, to Department of Heavy Industry (DHI). The merger shall be subject to obtaining necessary approvals from appropriate authorities." |
