| IDBI Bank Limited - Scheme of Arrangement | |
| Idbi Bank Limited has informed the Exchange that the Board of Directors of IDBI Bank Ltd., at their meeting held on December 3, 2010, have approved : (1) Draft Scheme of Amalgamation of IDBI Gilts Limited (a 100% unlisted subsidiary of IDBI Bank Ltd.) with IDBI Bank Ltd. in accordance with Sections 391 to 394 of the Companies Act, 1956; and (2) Draft Scheme of Amalgamation of IDBI Homefinance Limited (a 100% unlisted subsidiary of IDBI Bank Ltd.) with IDBI Bank Ltd. in accordance with Sections 391 to 394 of the Companies Act,1956. The proposed Schemes of Amalgamation are further subject to the approval by the requisite majority of the shareholders of the Bank and sanctions and orders being obtained from the Ministry of Corporate Affairs, Government of India, apart from any other Statutory and Regulatory Authority. |
