Tata BP Solar India becomes wholly owned subsidiary of Tata Power Company On 28 June 2012 Tata Power Company on 28 June 2012 has completed the purchase of 51% equity shares of Tata BP Solar India, which were held by BP Alternative Energy Holdings. Consequently, Tata BP Solar India is now a wholly owned subsidiary of the company.
