Delisted Companies
Delisted companies refer to those companies whose shares are restricted from trading on the Exchanges. A company may seek delisting when its shares are acquired from the market by another company leaving its public holding below the requisite levels, or as a result of amalgamation, merger or acquisition. Delisting may also be compulsarily enforced by the Exchange due to non-payment of annual listing fees by the company. Following is a list of companies that have got delisted from the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) / National Stock Exchange (NSE).
