Top Gainers - Nifty
The top ten Stocks comprising S&P CNX Nifty index that witness the maximum upside movement during a given period (generally one day) are referred to as Top Gainers-Nifty. In other words, a stock whose value appreciation in a given day is the maximum as compared to all other stocks comprising S&P CNX Nifty is referred to as the Top Gainer of that given day. Every stock is denoted a unique keyword that is used for trading or/and getting information about the stock (like stock quotes etc).
Open Price at which the stock opens on a given day, i.e. the first trade price on that day.
High Highest trade price for a stock on a given day.
Low Lowest trade price for a stock on a given day.
Previous Close Previous day’s closing price i.e. last trade price on the previous day.
Last Traded Price (LTP) Price at which the last trade took place.
% Change Percentage change between the previous close price and last trade price.
Total Traded Quantity Volume (number) of shares traded on a given day.
Turnover Value of all trades executed on a given day.
Last Ex Date
On or after the ex-date, investors do not receive any corporate benefits (like dividend, bonus). In order to receive dividend/shares at least one day prior to the ex-date. Selling the shares on the ex-date also entitles investors to receive these benefits.
Last Corporate Action
Corporate actions include dividend issues, bonus issuesbonus shares, investors need to be holding the shares of the company on the ex-date or buy, rights issues, annual general meetings, stock split, mergers and acquisitions etc.
